«Писателем» я стал неделю назад и совершенно случайно. Просто отреагировал на несколько трагичных медицинских историй, появившихся на сайте ЭХО Москвы: «
Пикеты родителей у Минздрава. Как и что было» и «Почему больница годами в таком состоянии?!»Написал короткую заметку «Как убраться в 7 больнице?» о том, что какую-то часть проблем Российской медицины может помочь решить гражданское общество и волонтерское движение - те самые добровольцы. Ответы наших добровольцев стоит почитать самостоятельно. Скажу одно: добровольцев нашлось немного
Добровольцы американские – просто совпало
Незнакомые американские добровольцы написали мне на facebook чуть раньше. Почему мне? Понятия не имею, наверное просто потому, что я - доктор и есть несколько публикаций на английском.
История очень короткая и простая: Американский парень едет на работу в Москву летом. Просит помочь найти его жене волонтерскую работу (бесплатную) в больнице на лето.
Прислал ее резюме. Студентка медицинской школы. Заканчивает в 2014 году. Уже успела поработать добровольцем с детьми-инвалидами и в детском реабилитационном центре.
Не хочется делать патетических выводов и заключений. Простая история.

I am reaching out to you since I am scheduled to be in Moscow during the summer for business and my wife who is medical school in New York would love to do some sort of voluntary work in the medical field while we are there. She would be interested in either working at some sort of medical clinic or doing research at a university.
